North of Portugal

When you visit Porto and the North of Portugal, you’ll discover a region where cities, nature and tradition come together. In Minho you’ll find the birthplace of Portugal (Guimarães), the Portuguese Rome (Braga), the oldest village in Portugal (Ponte de Lima) and the one and only Peneda-Gerês National Park.

In Trás-os-Montes you must visit: Bragança, the beautiful Montesinho Nature Park, where you’ll find a village divided between two countries and the most beautiful part of Douro.

When you visit Porto you’ll soon find out that there are many things to do in Porto. This is an authentic city like no other in Europe – friendly people, a rich gastronomy and much more.
