Antonio is such a great host. We stayed for a week and really had a good time. His breakfast were delicious and change every morning. We highly recommend staying at his place!

Antonio and the Marina Lounge Hostel made our trip to Sao Miguel one to remember! From the time we entered, we felt safe and welcome. Our room was spotless and ready for us when we arrived. Almost everything we did was thanks to Antonio’s recommendation and we loved it all. Breakfast every morning was homemade, hot, and delicious and he was so incredibly accommodating for any dietary preferences. On our last morning when we had to leave early for the airport, he went out of his way to make sure we had something to eat before we left. Not enough good things to say, and thanks again Antonio for making our stay so incredible. We hope to be back and will no doubt stay with you again!

Choosing this hostel was the best possible decision. The hostel is located very close to the port and the city swimming pools. The interior of the facility is clean, neat and well organized. The breakfasts are delicious and plentiful. However, above all, the best advantage of this place are its hosts. Antonio took care of us like his private guests. He arranged for us to rent a car and suggested a sightseeing and hiking plan for the day at breakfast every day. Without his help, we would not have seen so many beautiful places. If we return to the Azores, we will definitely stay at this hostel again. I highly recommend this hostel to everyone!

What a place! This was the highlight of our Portugal trip and it's all thanks to our AMAZING host Antonio! I have never had a better host and probably never will. The place was simply amazing, the whole interior was gorgeous. The room was great and spacious. The bathrooms, the kitchen, the rooms all very clean and with all the things one might need! Every morning Antonio made breakfast for us (delicious!) and sat down with each of the guests in order to give us recommendations on what to see. We are so grateful for that! Even if you planned the perfect trip, there are still things that only the locals know and Antonio really gave us amazing recommendations and directions on where to go and how to get there. I still have the map he drew for us, it is gold! The place is just a couple of minutes away from the marina and the centre, there are a lot of restaurants, a parking lot and a supermarket nearby. I highly highly recommend this place! We are definitely going back!
